Release: MailVault v4.1.11 (Mail source monitoring, restore search results via POP3)

MailVault v4.1.11 is available.

This release contains:

  •     Mail source monitoring and alerting
  •     Restore any search result set via POP3
  •     Enhanced audit reports
  •     Other minor fixes and enhancements

Mail sources now have a “monitor this source” option. When enabled, MailVault can monitor these email sources and alert you of email collection problems, which could be because of network issues, authentication problems or simply configuration errors at your mail server. Mail source monitoring alerts can be enabled from Settings > Alerts.

In addition to the numerous flexible methods of retrieving and restoring email from within MailVault, this release adds yet another super-convenient option for power users. Run and refine your search, select the messages from the result set and choose to “Restore via POP3″. This is especially useful for large result sets, where you may not want to saturate your mail server by forwarding all that email over SMTP.

You can upgrade your MailVault installation by going to:

Settings > Core > Auto updates and click on Check for updates

Then simply follow the on-screen instructions.
